Met up with Steph after such a long time and sudden cancellations, but yay! Glad we met up. Decided to roam around the Everton Park area which was just under HDB blocks. There were a few cafes there and just decided to try our luck and dine from a random one! We went into Cozy Corner Coffee and settled there. Though their menu was limited and had mains like All-Day Breakfast, pies and pasta, their food was decent. Nothing much to rave about, but for the price, it was ok. We shared an all day breakfast and a Beef Lasagne.

Decided after that to pop by another cafe to have some desserts, so we walked towards the Grin Affair, where they had pretty cakes that were made in jars. We ordered the Lychee Passion, and Banoffee. The lychee passion cake was delightfully fruity, and had pistachio nuts on the top with a dash of sea salt! The sea salt addition was really interesting because it added that tinge of saltiness to the sweet passion taste. I like!

The Banoffee one was a combination of coffee and banana, and topped with a bunch of pecans. Liked how the coffee wasn’t too overpowering, and it tastes kinda like a tiramisu.

Left Everton Park and we walked towards Tanjong Pagar where we decided to settle for some cold drinks over at The Plain. The weather was too hot and we got ourselves their iced latte which i really liked. Small talks and ideas about the possibility of her coming over to visit got me excited!! So glad we made the meetup happen steph! 😀
