The sun was out and I thought, why not take the opportunity to snap a few photos? There’s something about the sun and the amount of light that comes through into the living room in the mid afternoons that makes the workspace so much more like a “workspace”. Plus, I just trimmed down a fresh bouquet of wild blooms to dry them up in separate beakers. Essentially, a £5 bouquet could be divided into 3-4 individual smaller bunches to put around the house.

So, when I’m not working on my school work, or rather, taking a break from it, I start embroidering. Pretty glad that I started doing it and it’s a really good form of therapy. Recently, I’ve been trying out portrait embroidery. Not exactly good at it yet, but hopefully I’ll improve in time to come! The goal is to complete as many pieces as I can within the next one year here in London. It’s rather satisfying looking at all the work in progress stacked up in the corner.
2 weeks into school already, and is it scary that I actually feel the pressure?
