I was scrolling through youtube and I decided to click through into this video, and I got reminded why I loved it the first time I watched it.

I guess it’s to easy to fall in love these days, but I think it’s really hard to stay in love. When we fall in love, we can easily fall in love with the person on a very surface level. That person who makes our heart flutter a little with every smile, that person who holds you by your waist and make you feel safe. Falling in love is a rush of emotions, filled with anticipation, excitement, combined with yearning and hesitation.

I believe that love is a beautiful thing / process if you would like to call it.

Staying in love means that you’re willing to accept all the flaws and insecurities of the other person and still know that you want to be with them. It means that you’re always gonna be ready to have your arms wide open when your partner brings down their walls of insecurities and shares with you the scary and vulnerable parts of their life with you. It also means wanting to learn more about each other everyday, and not run out of things to talk about. It means to share every bit of your life with them even if you feel that they wouldn’t understand, or they’re not interested. It just shows that you want to include them in your life. On some days, someone’s gonna be feeling less stellar than their usual self, and being in love means acknowledging that and sitting them down, be it to listen, or just be quiet with them, letting them feel that you’re there for them. It also means to constantly strive to be a better partner so that the relationship is always improving.

Love is even after all the time of being together, through roller coasters of emotions, he/she still feels like home.
And they would always do.
